Select one class for $84, or two for $144 ( $72/class)

These classes will be held at Ellen Web Studio, 2822 Union St, Emeryville, CA 94608 on six Sundays in a row from June 7 - July 12. Our performance will be on Saturday, July 18 at around 7:00pm. Call time two hours ahead of performance time.

We will have specific fabric to make our bras and belts; fabric will be around $10. We will all need silver harem pants, and I will send out the link/links for the pants closer to class time.

2:00pm - 2:55pm - Twitterpated Drum Solo

This is a brand new song and a brand new dance. Come smooth out your shimmy with me! This class will definitely make you sweat, so please bring water for sure, and a towel if you think you might need it.

3:00pm - 3:55pm - Blues in the Night Feather Fans

Big fans always wow the crowd. These props are rarely seen in belly dance shows. Come learn this brand new dance to a jazz number from the early 1940s.

Because a pair of large feather fans is a big investment, I've decided to let people pick out their fans or make them with a few guidelines. We need ONE LEFT-HAND and ONE RIGHT-HAND fan in the white color family. Mine are ivory. I think some are called eggshell. Staves should be clear, white, ivory, or wooden. They should open to be no smaller than 36" wide and no larger than 48" wide.

Hotfans.com is currently selling a pair of white fans for $155.

Mine are 48" wide and 25" tall, came from ostrich.com and they cost about twice as much. It looks like they are updating their website. If you really want the nice ones for some reason, I'd say wait on ostrich.com or make your own.
